After graduating with a B.S. in Accounting and passing the CPA exam in Illinois in 2000, I started my accounting and tax career. Although I had good success in Illinois, I still knew I wasn't where I wanted to be geographically. So, in December of 2004 I made the move to Carlsbad.

Best thing I ever did!

Since moving in 2004, I've been building my practice and meeting alot of great people/business owners.

My focus is on the individual and small business level of accounting, bookkeeping, and tax preparation.

Primarily I serve all of North County (Carlsbad, Encinitas, Oceanside, Vista, La Costa, Leucadia, Rancho Santa Fe, Solana Beach, Cardiff, Del Mar), but I do make exception and venture further south. Plus with my remote services (see On-Site and Remote), I can cover anywhere with internet access.

Macy is a California native from Whittier and graduated from Cal State Fullerton with an Accounting degree.

He's been a CPA since 1976, so he brings 35 years of CPA experience to the table.

Macy is an Advanced QuickBooks ProAdvisor and seasoned accountant with a focus on the individual and small business level of accounting, bookkeeping, and tax preparation. He also has experience with the federal tax courts, Chapter 11 corporate bankruptcies, preparing audits, reviews, and compilations.

Karen is originally from London Ontario, Canada and moved to the US in 1980. She has been providing bookkeeping services since 2005. She moved to California from Colorado in April of 2011 and has been a great addition to Crisler Accounting with her QuickBooks and bookkeeping skills.
